This is a song better suited to Halloween than a nice start-of-summer day, but the final line of the chorus gets to me so deeply that I almost posted a full Halloween mix rather than this song (not true). The whole song is pretty immediate, but I’m just such a sucker for the added little melodic twist at the end of a chorus. It’s like you think you know the chorus, and sure you’re friends and all, but then you go on a road trip or have some epic night out, and just like that, you’re inseparable, and you never saw THAT coming, you know?

Whatever, it’s JUST like that.
